About J-CAF

The Jamaica Creative Access Fund (J-CAF) is a strategic initiative dedicated to growing Jamaica's creative sector by equipping emerging talent with the training, funding, and tools they need to build sustainable creative careers.

Backed by investment from the Universal Service Fund, J-CAF works toward two goals: developing high-potential creative entrepreneurs into economic leaders, and expanding the volume and quality of local, relevant online content - strengthening the value of universal internet access for all Jamaicans.

What We Look For

Our screening process prioritizes the following:

• Passion - A driven and passionate creative that have taken the time to develop one's skills
• Demonstrated commitment or momentum - a portfolio, prior output, or hustle, even if informal or unmonetized
• A real gap the program can close - skills, capital, or equipment needs that J-CAF is positioned to address
• Coachability and communication - clarity of thought in your pitch matters more than polish
• Parish and discipline diversity - we actively seek a cohort that represents all of Jamaica, not just Kingston or one creative medium
• Realistic availability - applicants must be able to commit to the full training and pitch cycle
